Local Community Builder (LCB) - Role Overview
Role Objective:
As a Local Community Builder (LCB) for Bitchcoin, you are the on-the-ground advocate responsible for creating a thriving local community. Through grassroots events, online engagement, and creative marketing, you will introduce Bitchcoin to a wider audience, help newcomers understand the crypto landscape, and foster a positive, active environment that drives growth. In this role, you’ll build a strong personal network, learn the skills needed to land your first job in crypto, and earn a standout LinkedIn title—either with Bitchcoin or through our company, LFG Labs, if preferred. This is a perfect opportunity for anyone eager to make an impact, develop leadership skills, and grow their expertise in the crypto space.
Key Responsibilities
Grow and Engage the Community:
Host events (online or in-person) like meetups, educational sessions, and networking opportunities.
Create engaging online content that resonates with your local audience and drives Bitchcoin awareness.
Interact with community members on social media, answering questions, sharing updates, and promoting a supportive, welcoming environment.
Work Closely with the Head of Community:
Receive guidance and feedback from your country’s Head of Community, attending monthly check-ins and training sessions.
Contribute local insights and ideas to broader community-building strategies, working collaboratively with other LCBs to share best practices.
Promote Bitchcoin’s Brand and Values:
Represent Bitchcoin authentically, building a local brand identity that aligns with Bitchcoin’s core values of inclusivity, innovation, and fun.
Encourage an open, supportive, and inclusive culture within the community to make everyone feel welcomed and valued.Local Sponsorships for Events6. As a key part of building the community, Local Community Builders (LCBs) and Heads of Community are encouraged to seek out local sponsorships for events. These partnerships not only add value to our events but also strengthen ties with other organizations, expanding Bitchcoin’s visibility and reach in each region. Local sponsors could include cafes, coworking spaces, tech startups, or crypto-friendly businesses willing to offer their venue, refreshments, or promotional support in exchange for exposure to our engaged audience. Working with local sponsors enhances event experiences, fosters community goodwill, and provides LCBs with practical skills in partnership-building and event coordination.

Requirements
Passion for Community Building: Previous experience is not required, but an enthusiasm for bringing people together and creating a positive, connected space is a must.
Interest in Crypto: No prior crypto experience is necessary, but a willingness to learn and grow in this area is essential.
Creativity & Initiative: Ability to think of new, engaging ways to attract and retain members, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Good Communication Skills: You enjoy interacting with people, whether online or in person, and can communicate clearly and positively.
Earning Points: The Ladder to Success
As an LCB, you’ll earn points for your contributions, which allow you to progress through different levels. Points can lead to rewards, recognition, and potential opportunities for advancement. Here’s how you can earn points:
Hosting Events: +10 points for each event (meetups, workshops, etc.) that meets attendance/engagement goals
Online Engagement: +5 points for every 10 high-quality, engaging social media posts (e.g., local memes, discussions, polls)
Monthly Check-in Participation: +5 points for attending and contributing to monthly check-ins with the Head of Community
Campaign Success: +10 points for launching local campaigns that meet/exceed a defined growth target
Innovative Ideas: +15 points for implementing a creative strategy that drives significant local engagement (subject to approval)
Securing sponsorship:
Encouraging your community to post engaging posts in bitchcoins social media channels.
Rank Advancement and Perks:
Level 1 (0-50 points): Local Community Builder Badge for LinkedIn, access to Bitchcoin’s exclusive community resources
Level 2 (50-150 points): Monthly access to private mentorship sessions with community-building experts, recognition in Bitchcoin’s community updates
Level 3 (150-300 points): Priority access to apply for internal roles, Bitchcoin branded swag (stickers, hoodies, etc.)
Level 4 (300+ points): Invitation to global strategy calls with top leaders, official LinkedIn title of “Senior Local Community Builder,” and consideration for regional leadership roles

Points, Leaderboard, and Referral Codes
As a Local Community Builder, you’ll earn points and rise up in rank based on your contributions. To keep the competition fun and rewarding, all LCBs will be featured on a public leaderboard that tracks your points and achievements in real-time. Top performers are highlighted, and reaching the top tiers will unlock additional rewards, recognition, and even early consideration for leadership roles.
Referral Codes for Points
You’ll receive a unique referral code to share with new community members. Every time someone joins the community using your code, completes onboarding, or engages with Bitchcoin on social media, you earn points! Here’s the breakdown:
New Community Member Sign-Up: +5 points per referral who joins the community through your code. And another +5 per user they bring in.
Onboarding Completion: +10 points when a referral completes the onboarding class, learning the basics of crypto and Bitchcoin
Social Media Engagement: +5 points for each referral who follows Bitchcoin on social platforms and engages with our content
Leaderboard and Rewards:
The leaderboard will be updated monthly, allowing LCBs to track their progress and compete for rewards. Top-ranking LCBs receive exclusive perks, early access to new Bitchcoin initiatives, and additional recognition in our community updates.
